Sheep Herding: an unforgettable group experience in nature

Are you looking for an original activity where you can spend time outdoors together, have plenty of fun and get to know one another from a completely different perspective? During our sheep-herding activity, you and your group will work with a real flock of sheep.

Under expert guidance, you will first be introduced to the animals. You will discover how sheep respond, how a flock behaves and the special role played by the Border Collie. Then it is time for you and your group to have a go yourselves.

With clear communication, good teamwork and plenty of enthusiasm, you will try to guide the sheep in the right direction. It may sound easy, but the flock sometimes has ideas of its own. This is exactly what creates so many funny, unexpected and often unforgettable moments.

A wonderful activity for families and friends

Sheep herding is an enjoyable experience for families, groups of friends and other parties. Both young and old can take part, and the exercises are adapted to suit the composition of the group.

Children also love the close contact with the animals. After the activity, there is usually some time to see the sheep up close, take a lovely photograph or simply enjoy a quiet moment with the flock.

The family version lasts approximately one and a half hours and is suitable for groups of up to around 30 people.

Original team building for businesses

Sheep herding is also a highly enjoyable group activity for companies and organisations. In the extended team version, the focus is on cooperation, communication and group dynamics.

During the exercises, it quickly becomes clear how the team works together. Who naturally takes the lead? Who keeps an overview of the situation? Do the participants listen carefully to one another? And how does the group respond when the sheep suddenly head in a different direction?

In a relaxed and accessible way, the activity offers surprising insights into the way your team works together. There will be laughter, discussion and a shared search for the best approach. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to know colleagues better, strengthen team spirit and step away from the usual working environment for a while.

The team version lasts approximately two hours. For groups wishing to explore cooperation and communication in greater depth, the activity can be extended with additional guidance or a joint reflection session afterwards.

With respect for nature and animal welfare

The flock helps with the natural management of the grasslands and traditional orchards. In this way, the animals contribute to a varied landscape and help preserve local biodiversity.

The welfare of the sheep always comes first. In exceptionally warm weather, during frost or in other unsuitable conditions, the programme will be adapted or, when necessary, rescheduled.

The first lambs are born in spring, making a visit to the flock at this time of year especially delightful.

Enjoy a special experience together

Sheep herding is sociable, active and refreshingly different. It is the ideal activity for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors together and is looking for an experience that will be talked about long afterwards.

The date and starting time will be arranged in consultation with you.
